Here's how we'll troubleshoot to pinpoint the issue:

1. Check for debris: The simplest starting point is inspecting the supply stops and cartridge for any debris. If either is restricted, the valve can struggle to maintain accurate temperature control.

2. Verify Plumbing Connections: If the first step checks out, the next possibility is reversed hot and cold water lines feeding into the valve. This is more likely during installation. However, if the valve worked fine before, we can rule this out and move forward.;

3. Evaluate the temperature cartridge: If the issue lies with the temperature cartridge, replacing it should restore functionality. For new installations, it' rare for the cartridge to be the problem since these are factory-tested and typically reliable right out of the box.
