1. Gather the right tools
Flashlight
Adjustable wrench
Bucket or towel
Screwdriver (flathead or Phillips, depending on the faucet model)
Replacement gaskets, washers, or hoses (if necessary)
2. Check for leak
- Once underneath the countertop, turn the faucet on and tighten every hose clockwise
- There will also be fitting where two hoses connected underneath, this is usually for the sprayer and needs to be checked to make sure it's not loose
- If a leak is directly shooting from the hose, the hose is now damaged and requires replacement
